FOUR matches scheduled for Tuesday, 2 April

Matches in the DStv Premiership are coming thick and fast with another four scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 2 April 2024.

The long Easter weekend saw seven matches played, with a number of those teams back in action today.

Kaizer Chiefs will have their hands full at home against second-placed Stellenbosch FC at the FNB Stadium.

Amakhosi are coming off a goalless draw against Cape Town City FC which saw them stay in seventh place in the standings, while Stellies trounced Royal AM 3-0 over the weekend.

With just nine matches remaining in their season, the Glamour Boys will be looking over the shoulder at the teams behind them as they bid to hang onto a top eight place and a spot in next season’s MTN8 tournament.

Tickets are still available for the match.

Meanwhile, runaway log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns should have no trouble in maintaining their gap atop the log when they host struggling Richards Bay.

Masandawana are fast closing in on another league title and currently enjoy an 11-point lead while having played two fewer matches than their nearest challengers.

Third-placed Sekhukhune United host sixth-placed Cape Town City FC in the pick of Tuesday’s action.

Sekhukhune United have been in fantastic form of late and will fancy their chances against a Citizens side which has cooled off in recent weeks.

The fourth and final clash will see AmaZulu welcome Polokwane City to the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

All four matches will kick off at 19:30.
