Sekhukhune United duo of Lehlohonolo Seema and Linda Mntambo has scooped DStv Premiership awards for February and March.
Seema has been named coach of the month for that period while Mntambo walked away with the player of the month accolade.
This comes on the back of an impressive start to 2024 where Sekhukhune are still unbeaten after seven league games.
Nonetheless, the results of the period between February and March were taken into consideration, and the judges agreed that the duo deserves the awards.
During that period, Sekhukhune won all their five league games, and thus, collecting 15 points from a possible 15.
And that has taken them high up on the DStv Premiership log, and in with a chance to finish in the top three.
Mntambo was a big factor to that success as he contributed three goals and two assists in those five matches.
Sekhukhune United are currently fourth on the log with 35 points from 22 league games, and they are four points behind second-placed Stellenbosch FC.
